Obituary of Roy Pearson

Roy Pearson, 100 of Duluth and Proctor, MN passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2020 in Hospice Care.  

Roy was born on December 10th, 1919. in Duluth to Swan and Anna Pearson.  

Roy graduated from Denfeld High School in 1938. He  married Rae Anderson and they had two children Arlene and Gary. Roy loved to hunt, fish and play cribbage. He worked as a railroad yardmaster and conductor.  Roy retired from the Duluth Winnipeg & Pacific Railroad in 1980.

Roy is survived by his daughter Arlene Pearson, son Gary (Eileen) Pearson, grand children Gary Scott Pearson and Michael (Tracy) Pearson.  He had two great-grand children Makayla and Nicholas Pearson and nieces Janice, Barb and nephew Dennis. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rae and sister Lorraine Anderson.

The family would like to thank the staff at North Shore Estates Nursing Home and Moments Hospice for their dedicated care of Roy.

Due to COVID concerns, the family will honor his memory privately.
