Obituary of Bruce Allen Larson

Bruce A Larson 05/02/1953-10/17/2020

Retired from Ryerson Steel after 34 years and a custodian for 14 years with ISD279. Bruce loved fishing and music.

His family was always a priority. Cookie and coffee with his dog, Buddy, was a daily ritual. Friends were very important to Bruce.

His Friday night visits with Dean and Brian were a longstanding routine. Pool and croquet. The wives understood this and planned around it.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Don and Dorothy Larson, father-in-law Vern Erdahl, and brother at heart, Dean Barsness.

He is survived by wife of 48 years, Nancy, son Brian (Lisa), daughters Christie Wenzel (Corey), and Carla (Crystal).

Grandchildren Samantha Moosai (Steve), Amanda Larson (DeAundre), Conner Jaycox (Kendra).

Sisters Linda Sornberger (Larry) and Connie Hail (Jack).

Mother-in-law Mattie Erdahl, brother-in-law Mike Erdahl (Joanne), sister-in-law Mary Rassatt.

Nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Brother at heart, Brian Malone, and many other friends and relatives.

Bruce had a message for all: “Never take for granted what you have; you never know what’s around the corner.”

Due to covid there will be no service at this time. A memorial service fro family and friends will be at a later date.
