Obituary of Richard Lewis Schiltgen

Richard L. Schiltgen, 61, of Navarre, MN, passed away on October 4, 2020 in Navarre.

Richard was born in Minneapolis, MN to Albert John and Constance Mary (Henderson) on November 29^th, 1958. He went to school in Mound, MN. He married Janet ‘Meredith’ Schmidt on March 3, 1984. They were married for 36 years. He worked many jobs over the years, mainly in the construction industry.  He had a passion for quality craftmanship. He was an Army veteran based in Germany, served for 6 years. He was a highly regarded aviation mechanic.  He loved to boat and fish.

Richard is preceded in death by his father Albert, his mother Constance, his first wife Meredith and his second wife Brenda.

Richard is survived by his oldest daughter Patricia and her husband Marcus Elliot, his son Erik and his wife Joelle Schiltgen. His daughter Katharine Hauser and long-time boyfriend Thomas Wright. His sister Pauline, his brother Jack. His grandchildren Malaki, Leon, and Genesis. His loving girlfriend Georgia.
