Landin, John E “Jack”

October 2, 1929 - September 19, 2020

A kind , funny and talented man who was loved by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” , and his best friend

and dancing partner, Norma Johnson. Survived by sons, John Jr. ( Kim ) Landin and Jay ( Lesley ) Landin. Grandchildren , Katie, Ally, Jessie, Jack, Stella, and Mason. Great grandchildren,, Aiden and Finn.

A graduate of Roosevelt High School, Jack served in the United States Army in Korea from 1951-1953 which was followed by a long career at Ford Motor Company. A beautiful Saxophonist, Jack is a member of the Twin Cities Musicians Union Hall of Fame. His love of music and sheer artistry will be missed by all. He will always be our sweet melody maker. We all love you. A celebration of Jacks life will be held on 10/19 from 11 am - 1:00 pm at The Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave, Edina. In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Young Musicians Scholarship Fund,708 1st Street N. Suit CR31, Minneapolis, MN 55401.
