Dolores Sheron “Dee” Huffman

December 19, 1928 – September 25, 2020

Dolores Sheron “Dee” Huffman, age 91, of Big Lake, formerly of Bloomington, MN, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at home.  She was born to Arthur and Ethel (Owens) Armstrong in St. Louis, Missouri on December 19, 1928.

Dolores met Stanley Huffman in California and they were married on March 11, 1946 in San Raphael, CA.  Together they raised 2 sons and 3 daughters in Bloomington, MN where Dolores worked until the age of 82 in restaurant management.

Dolores had a quick wit and a great love for her family.  She wrote poetry and enjoyed reading.  She particularly enjoyed studying astrology.  She loved angels and sea shells and had an extensive collection of both.  She was a mentor for many of her grandchildren and her love and guidance will be greatly missed by all.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ethel Armstrong, infant son Thomas Charles Huffman I, sisters Vernie Finn and Frances Hall, infant sister Rose Armstrong, brother Gene Huffman, and daughter-in-law Donna Huffman.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Kathy) Huffman II and Stanley Huffman Jr.; daughters Valerie (David) Hoffman, Linda (John) McNally, and Lisa (Michael Wagner) Millard; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

No service will be held.  Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina, MN.
