Bob and I met back in the 70's when working at the DNR when the 3 kids were quite small. He and Kathy were fun to get to know and were an awesome family. The tragic death of their son reverberated through this community and changed so much of their lives. I am happy they ultimately all pulled together and found happiness again, and am so thankful for his daughters taking care of him at the end as well as the "neighborhood" we lived in. He was a great thinker, and was gifted with a love of this country and his family. Our heart goes out to all of us left behind, and especially his immediate family and extended family that he so appreciated. May your hearts be healed in knowing he is at peace and without pain any longer ~ he weathered a long and difficult battle. Love Laurie and Lyle
