Obituary of Robert Edward Richards

Age 93; passed away on September 29, 2020. Preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Sarah Richards; brother, Vernon Richards. Survived by sister, Arminta Miller (Ron); brother, James Richards (Carol); nieces and nephews, Kerry Sovell, Jeff Miller and Kristy Martin, Kurt and Kent Richards; and many adored great nephews, great nieces and friends. Robert served in the US Navy. He spent most of his adult life in California. He was a man of many interests… an artist, traveler, gourmet chef and expert party giver, a lover of classical  music and good literature. He was great lover of the theatre. He designed theatrical sets and acted in community theatre. Robert spent his last years at Mt. Olivet Home. Our thanks to all his precious caregivers. A true gentleman who will be deeply missed. A private memorial will be held for immediate family at Fort Snelling.
