So sorry for your loss. I met Jean when she resided at Edgewood Vista. My mom was there at the same time. I visited several times a week and every time I walked in Jean would smile, wave and make her way to where I sat with my mom. Many times she sat with me and my mom telling me all about her 4 sons (Reid, Bob, Gordy and Bill) and her daughter (Susan). I didn't know Jean before then, however I did remember Bill and Gordy from elementary school in Duluth. Of course given the situation, she told me multiple times about her kids and never missed a beat. :) We often sat and sang songs with a couple other residents. She always remembered the words to the children's songs. It was great to get to know her regardless of the situation.
She is now at peace with no more confusion or suffering.
