Obituary of Marvin Dale Born

Born, Marvin Dale Age 83 of Coon Rapids passed away peacefully on May 24, 2020 after contracting COVID-19, ending his four-year struggle with Alzheimer's / Dementia. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Dwayne and Allen. Marvin is survived by his son Dave (Margie) of Edina, and his daughter Cindy Larson (Brandon) of Dayton; and his brothers Roger (Patti) of Washington, Dennis (Kathie) of New Ulm, and Jerry (Patti) of Buffalo. He is also survived by his granddaughters Sydney and Emily Born of Minneapolis; and the mother of his children Carol Kube of Inver Grove Heights. Marv graduated from Patrick Henry High School and served in the US Army. He was a long-time employee of 3M before starting his own business, Able Art Services. Marv enjoyed home projects, hunting and downhill skiing (up until age 78). We will be having an outside service for MarvIn at Fort Snelling Cemetery on Thursday, Oct. 1st at 1:45.
