Obituary of Robert Gene Bourassa

Robert Gene Bourassa born September 9, 1947 in Duluth, MN to Harry and Ardell Bourassa. He died August 30, 2020 in Duluth, MN.

Robert served in the Vietnam War as a Marine from 1965-1969 earning three bronze stars and a purple heart.

After returning home he worked as an iron worker and millwright. Rat was a proud member of the B.P.M. M.C. and got his patch in 1970. He loved his motorcycles, the parties, the whiskey, and his club brothers- as they loved him.

Declining health issues prevented him from participating in the club functions that he loved so much over the past several years.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta; mother, Ardell; children, Shawn, Jessica, William (Tiffany), and Anthony (Tina); many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, John and Tim.

Robert was preceded in death by father, Harry; son, Bobby; and brothers, Michael and Steven.

There will be a gathering and a 21 Gun Salute on September 26, 2020 from 10:00 am until Noon at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Duluth.  A Get-Together will follow at Bob "Rat" and Berta's house in Duluth.
