Obituary of Ellen LaMae

Ellen LaMae, 62, died at home on September 8, 2020 in Fredenberg, MN.

She was born in Mpls, Mn. on January 22, 1958 to Richard and Jeannette Hanson.

She graduated from Hermantown High School in 1976. Worked at the Duluth Upholstery Shop, sold Southwestern books in the summers during college, substitute teacher in Maine, Bridgeton Knitting Mills and retired from the IRS after 22 years. She delighted in building character within the youth at the Fredenberg Chapel. She was very content with her life; telling stories, canoeing in her beaver pond, peeled tree’s and walking in the woods. Ellen loved and cherished the time with her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. She believed in Jesus with every fiber of her being and was centered in her faith. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Jeannette Hanson; son, Arthur, along with four children and grandchildren who were waiting in heaven for her. She is survived by her siblings: Sheryl Hanson, Dennis Hanson, David (Gerri) Hanson, Karen (Robert) Moore and Donna (David) Kohne; along with her children: Adam Adams, Amanda (Erick) Jack, Angela (Daniel) Perrin, Alyssa Adam, 9 grandchildren and a great grandson, along with many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be held Friday, September 15 at 5pm at 5805 Taft Rd, Fredenberg, MN.
