Daily morning message exchanges with Adan were my favorite part of quarantine/working from home. He never let me forget that he was awaiting my morning message of positivity to the team when I would get too deep into my emails and forget to send one out. And he always had a quirky response to each morning message and I loved that about him!
I want to acknowledge how great of a guy Adan was to work with. He made me feel welcome to the Victim Witness Team at the USAO and although we are a generation or two apart we always found things to chat and laugh about throughout each day. I’m so thankful for that and will really miss him. I extend my heartfelt condolences to Adan's family and pray for comfort in the days and weeks ahead.
Rest in Peace, Adan Perez.

Peggy and family, I will always remember Adan as a loving and caring person. The hours he spent with us translating income taxes for those who spoke Spanish will always be remembered. He said translating gave him a chance to speak in his native language. He loved his family and his country.

Peggy and the entire Perez family: my deepest condolences to you for this terrible and heartbreaking loss. Adan was a great man who cared a great deal for family, friends and country. Amongst all of the stories we shared at lunch or on the road together, the ones of family were his most heartfelt. He loved you all so much — you could hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes. He was proud of the work he did and the people he helped. I’m proud to call him my friend, and I wish I could have had one more lunch with him to thank him again for everything he did for me. The Federal Cafe should have a table named in his honor. I plan to visit him at Fort Snelling for lunch soon. Godspeed Senor Vato Loco.

Peggy, Vanessa, Adan & Joyce,
I am heartbroken at the loss of Adan. He had a kind and caring heart, and hearty laugh. I keep going over all the one-liners that he dropped with perfection over the years. I will treasure the memories of us golfing, bowling, or eating the fantastic tacos at your house. He was an original and he will be deeply missed.
