Obituary of Daniel Louis Hey

Daniel Louis Hey, 64, died suddenly in Duluth on September 4th, 2020. Daniel was born on August 11th, 1956 to Henry and Patricia (Irish) Hey. Daniel was a life-long Minnesota resident living in Duluth Heights. He attended Lowell, Washington Jr and Central High. Daniel was an auto mechanic for many years. He was also motorcyclist and loved fishing. He enjoyed coaching the women’s softball team. Daniel was known as a genuinely good soul that had the best sense of humor.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia (Irish) and Henry Hey; brother, George Hey and Leonard Weiss; Sister, Francis Weiss; and Niece, Micaila Hey. Daniel is survived by John (Barbara) Hey, Steve Hey, Gordon Hey, Barbara (Tim) Jones, Patrick Hey, 10 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces, nephews and cousins galore!
