Obituary of Gwen Kozlowski

Gwen Kozlowski, 64, of Duluth Minnesota, passed away on, Sunday August 16.

She was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, March 2, 1956. Gwen attended Lincoln Junior High, and St.Clements. She was the daughter of Thomas Jerome and Clara Jean Kozlowski. Gwen was a member of the Grand Portage Band of Chippewa.

Gwen was a homemaker for many years as well as a nanny to a number of children in Duluth. She worked at Jeno’s for many years and later worked in the hospitality industry. Gwen is remembered by many as the woman who would give you the shirt off her back, would teach you how to do your laundry, take care of your pets, or cook for your family.

She is survived by her children Dan Kozlowski, Doug (Rachel) Kozlowski, Steven Nelson, Alicia Kozlowski, her grandchildren Damien, Kateri, Carter, Keegan, Kaitlynn, great grand daughter Harley, her siblings Deb (Don) Silverness, Darin (Missy) Kozlowski, Cyril (Cheri) Kozlowski, Bill Kozlowski, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Celebration of life will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2:00 at the Cremation Society in Duluth MN with picnic to follow.
