Obituary of Lawrence Mark Ray

Lawrence Ray, 92, of Saginaw, MN died August 24, 2020.  Born in Duluth on September 4, 1927 to John and Mary Ray.  He served his country on an aircraft carrier in the United States Navy during WWII. Following his honorable discharge, he worked for Bridgeman Creamery for 37 years and drove school bus for 10 years. He married his sweetheart June McManus on Sept. 25, 1954. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, wood working and antique furniture refinishing. Larry is survived by his loving wife June, sons John (Kristin Lair) and James (Kerry Amborn), daughter Judy (Rob) Swan, grandson Jacob Amborn, sisters Marge (Andy) Bida and Rose (Bill) Stewart and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Julia Bujold and brother John Ray.   He was a devoted husband and father who will be sadly missed.  A private family service will be held.
