Obituary of Gregory Allen Berg

Gregory Allen Berg, beloved husband of Mary for 30 years, passed away suddenly in July. Born in 1952, he was the first of Gordy & Lois Berg’s 3 sons; growing up in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Greg was a graduate of Robbinsdale High School. 

Greg proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard and after active duty, he dedicated many more years in the Coast Guard Reserve. Professionally, Greg trained as a tool & die maker, in the footsteps of his grandfather Gust Berg; and then in the footsteps of his father Gordy, joined the 3M company where Greg spent the next 35 years in Research and Development. Greg was happily retired for 11 years before his passing.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents Gordon & Lois, and younger brothers, Gary & Randy.

Rest in Peace, dear Greg...you are missed so very much…every minute of every hour of every day!
