Obituary of Karen Kay (Fitzgerald) Sack

 

Karen Kay (Fitzgerald) Sack Born November 12, 1938, Age 81 of Hinckley, MN, formerly of St. Paul and Isle. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 14th, 2020, due to complications from heart and lung disease. She is preceded in death by her brother Claude Jr, and sister Lorraine Campbell, and daughter Cherrie Jones. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Raymond, and her children Raymond Sack Jr. (Dolly), Kim (Greg) Lindstrom, Lisa Sack, and Michael Sack. She leaves behind 5 Grandchildren, Tiana (Craig) Lundquist, Chad (Megan) Jones, Bryan (Trista) Jones, Kayla (Casey) Freeman, and Cheri Johnson. Also 4 Great Grandchildren, Ella, Waylon, Ollie and Parker, and numerous nieces and nephews, who she loved to see. Karen was a dedicated Mother first and foremost. She lived a happy life surrounded by a great family and friends filled with love. She loved having friends and family come up on holiday weekends. Karen's nickname was KareBare, Kare - due to the fact that she was so caring, and Bare - due to a moon or two during old Shack parties in the 70's and 80's. She loved crocheting, and made 'Happy Feet' slippers for friends and family, along with many afghans. Please join us in celebrating the life that Karen lived, and the lives she touched on August 27th, 2020 at The Forest Lake American Legion, 355 W. Broadway Avenue, Forest Lake Mn. from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
