Obituary of Roberta Deloris Rucci

Roberta Deloris Rucci, 86, of Apple Valley, passed August 12, 2020 with her family by her side. Roberta predeceased her husband’s Joseph Jelinek and Joseph Rucci respectively. Roberta is survived by her sister Kay Crawford, 6 children and spouses: Dawn and Tim Krick, Debra and Larry Gross, Doug Jelinek, Denise and Pete Skaar, Darcy Doty and Dennis Jelinek. She was also survived by her 16 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren who lovlying called her "Gramma Big Bird". She worked at the Minnesota Club and the Mendakota Country Club as well as volunteered often. Mom was very outgoing. In her early years she was actively involved in Girl Scouts and Youth Baseball in W. St. Paul. If anyone ever needed help, mom was there to lend a hand as well as bring all her kids with. Her friends and family were everything to her and she was always there for them. She never wanted a fuss made over her but she sure loved the attention. When she passed, we all agreed that Joe Rucci had a tee time already set up! WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK AND SHE WOULD REPLY, I LOVE YOU MORE! You will always be with us. Roberta will be buried at Fort Snelling with her late husband Joe Rucci. There will be a private family Celebration of her life.
