Obituary of Esther Anna Eller

   Esther Anna Eller, age 92 of Barnum, MN, formerly of Moose Lake, MN passed into our Lords hands on August 3rd, 2020 ant Augustana Nursing Care facility.

   Esther was born on May 2, 1928 at Moose Lake, MN to Julius Wilhelm Christian Mahlman and Margaretha Mary Murschel.

   She attended Windemere County School and Moose Lake School when the family moved to a farm west of Moose Lake, MN.   Esther Anna Mahlman married Donald Eugene Eller at Moose Lake, MN on June 2, 1947.

   Esther was a homemaker and raised four sons before working as a waitress, a motel housekeeper and housekeeping for private families and businesses.  She also worked on local charity drives, was an active member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and served as an election judge.  Esther enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, and exhibiting flowers at the county fair [ particularly gladiolus].

   She is survived by one older sister, Geneva Holms of Denver, CO; and three sons,  Steven of Barnum, MN, David of Mahtowa, MN and Dan of Chaska, MN; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

   Esther was preceded in death by four siblings who died at birth, a brother who died at 2 yrs. 11 mo., one older sister and an older brother.  Also preceding her in death are her husband, Donald; oldest son, Eugene Eller; and one great-granddaughter Anna.

   Due to the Covid 19 pandemic we will only be having a grave side service for immediate family, officiated be Pastor Kendal Carlson from the Barnum Community Methodist Church.
