Obituary of Martha Ann Carlson

Martha Ann “Marti” Carlson, cared for by her children, passed early on August 7th at the age of 72, Martha joins her mother and father Jean and Art LaPoint, her sisters Lynette Ness, Denise Woulette, Stuart Lapoint and her husband of 46 years, Greg. Martha is survived by her children; Matt (Amy), Josh (Kristine), Leah (Phil), brothers Art (Cathy), Carter and sister Nancy (David), sister-in-law Lindy(Bob), Brother-in-Law John (Patty) as well as grandchildren Sawyer, Hadley, Finn, Nolan, and Freya. Martha was so proud of her many nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins. Martha enjoyed a 32-year career working throughout the Hennepin County Medical Center. Martha’s true passion came from spending time with family at the cabin sitting on the deck, sharing stories, playing cards, cooking, barbecuing, and playing with her grandkids.
