Obituary of Theron Edwin Pond

Pond, Theron Edwin age 80, passed peacefully in Lakeville on July 28, 2020. Theron was born in Sisseton SD and graduated from Peever High School.

He was preceded in death by parents Wendell and Hattie, and sister Sheryl.

Survived by wife Ellen, son Brent (Mary Kay), daughter Michelle Hillyard (Nick) and grandchildren Daniel, Adam and Olivia Hillyard, Kaitlyn and Madelyn Pond, brother Bradley Pond, sisters Drena Egan (Vernon), Diane Fonder (Donald) and Renee DePalma, and a host of other family members and friends.

Theron will be remembered for his love of life, homespun sense of humor, one-liners, unique storytelling and the joy he brought others through singing and playing guitar.

A private service, due to Covid19, was held at MN Cremation Society, 4343 Nicollet Ave. S., on August 8th. Live streaming on Facebook under event name "Theron Pond Memorial Service" will start at 11:00AM for those not attending.

Inurnment will be in Peever Cemetery, Peever SD.
