I thought all Sally's grown children's testimony about their mother's exemplary love, selflessness, and faith in Jesus Christ were fitting to celebrate her life. She was a friend of mine from Northbrook church where we had enjoyed many great conversations and laughing! Vicki Olson

Sally was a close friend of mine. We had lots of fun together and our prayer partner friends. We also did some pranks along the way like our 50th birthday tping and other stuff at retreats. Oh wait, we tped her tree - maybe she didn't do any. If she did, I won't tell. I feel badly that I couldn't come to her celebration of life today because of CoVid. I'll miss our phone calls and picking her up for our fun get-togethers with friends although we haven't had many of these lately since some of our friends have also gone to heaven. I know she's enjoying seeing our Lord in person.

My name is Ann Budig, I am the Manager at Banfill Crossing, the apartments that Sally and Harold moved into most recently. Sally didn't live at Banfill as long as we would have liked; however, she would walk Banfill and greet and talk to anybody she passed. Her friendly smile will be missed here. May you rest in peace, Sally, and may the perpetual light shine upon you forever! Amen!

Sally and I met at Northbrook Church many years ago. I’ll always remember her smiley face and her talk about how much “ she loved her man”. Also how she added “Ann” as a middle name to almost all the woman around her there. I especially remember her son Todd, whom she called “Toddie”, since he hung out with my son, Joe. We shall all miss Sally but I am glad that our paths crossed and that we shall see her again in heaven where she is free now from all the cares of this world.
