Chessen, Eugene Wayne

 

80, passed away peacefully July 10, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones at home.

 

Born in Duluth, MN. Gene lead a life filled with travel, adventure and love. He spread his intoxicating joy, spirit and papa jokes to anyone with ears (willing or not). 

 

He is survived by his devoted wife Ardella Chessen; and his many loving children Natalie (Anthony) Zirlin, Elisa Chessen, Jennifer (Frank) DeMaio, Chad Chessen, Brent (Tracy) Chessen, and Tamara Vickers. One of his greatest joys was being a proud Papa of Joshua, Casey Alexander, Clayton, CC, Ally, Analese, Jake, and Cole

 

Teasing and joking until the last day; he is survived by his caring siblings Sherri Chessen, Judy Thomas, Peter Chessen; Sister in law Mary Chessen.

 

His heart filled with ever flowing love to his many nieces and nephews who are spread across the globe. 

 

He is joining his loving family; late parents Norman and Mary Levine Chessen and beloved late brother Ronald Chessen. 

 

Eugene, (aka Dad, Papa, Ugee) was a warm, comforting and safe presence who will continue to be loved, cherished, and missed.
