Obituary of Steven Gary Pavelko, Jr.

Pavelko, Steven G. "Sonny" "Juner" age 71 of Minneapolis, MN passed away peacefully at Methodist hospital on July 6th 2020. Preceded in death by parents Steven Sr., Francis and sister Sharon. Survived by his wife Sandra of 44 years; children: Kim, Mike, John (Pam); along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Patrick (Kathy), Mark (Cathy) along with many nieces, nephews and friends. After graduating from Jackson High in Minnesota, Steve served two years in the Army (Vietnam) where upon returning home he joined the "Minneapolis Public Works" as a truck driver which he worked for 30 years. After retirement, Steve loved to take long drives with his wife Sandy stopping at his favorite places such as a hidden gem restaurant that usually had a great Bloody Mary while always on the lookout for any casino even going as far as his beloved Vegas! Steve would stop for EVERY John Deer tractor along the way which just happen to drive his wife crazy! The funeral service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on July 21st 2020. Due to MN COVID 19 regulations, funeral service will be by invitation only with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
