Obituary of Dorothy Ann Prest

Prest, Dorothy Ann age 91, Maple Grove, MN, went home to the loving embrace of her heavenly Father, on June 03, 2020. Her two daughters were lovingly at her bedside in her passing. Dorothy loved the Lord and the Lord blessed her greatly with 70 years of marriage to her devoted husband and companion, Joe. She was blessed with six children, 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and many friends. Dorothy's legacy is that of an inspiring, kind, compassionate homemaker, devoted to her family and friends, being eager to introduce them to the Lord. Dorothy cherished bible studies, teaching biblical principles, involvement in Stephen's Ministry, assisting in foster care, assisting Mn Adult & Teen Challenge in teaching and mentoring. She enjoyed many other activities, including preparing dinner parties, organizing family events, attending children's sporting/entertainment events, and vacationing in Florida with family and friends. She was gifted with a beautiful singing voice, a soft smile, and a leader's heart. Dorothy was devoted to her husband, Joseph, and with each's unique sense of humor, the two of them were a joy to simply watch as they conversed with one another. Dorothy was born and lived in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area her entire life. Dorothy is proceeded in death by her husband, Joseph. Dorothy is survived by her Children and spouses: Gary & Shari, Tom & Nancy, Tracy & Rick Repasky, Gina & Pat Dee, Gregg & Carole, and Joel & Shelly, as well as 18 grandchildren, and 26 great- grandchildren. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at a later date along with burial at Fort Snelling. Memorials are preferred to MN Adult & Teen Challenge.
