Obituary of Joshua R Lindsay

Joshua R Lindsay, 26, of St Cloud, passed away June 12, 2020. He was born Dec 16, 1993 in Bellevue, Neb, the son of Herb and Debbie (Davies) Lindsay. He attended Anoka High School and graduated in 2012 and most recently St. Cloud State University.

 

Joshua was a member of the Boy Scouts, Civil Air Patrol, and was part of the debate team at Anoka High School. Joshua proudly served in the Minnesota National Guard and in the Army Reserve. He was a Guard member of the 874th Aviation Support Battalion and a member of the Army Reserve 79th MP Co PSNCO. Joshua had strong protective instincts and he hoped to one day be a Police Officer to protect and serve the community in a positive way. He was loved and respected by many and always had a hug and kind word for them.

 

Joshua was employed in St. Cloud at Kwik Trip in Guest Services and also at The Red Carpet Nightclub as Head of Security.

 

He is survived by his father Herb Lindsay, his sister, Vickie Lindsay, Aunt Terri, Uncle Randy Pierson, Aunt Lynda Bacon and his many cousins. 

He will also be missed by his best friends, Bobby Gilstorf and Alan Thorson, and many other friends he has made throughout his life.

Preceded in death by his mother, Debbie, his grandparents and his Aunt Phillis.

Funeral will be at Mary, Mother of the Church, 3333 Cliff Road, Burnsville, MN 55337

Saturday - June 27, 2020.

Visitation - 11:30-12:00pm

Funeral Service - 12:00pm

Private Interment at a later date

We highly encourage people attending the visitation and funeral to wear masks. There will also be some available at the church. Also, there is adequately space seating in the church for your comfort
