Beaner and Joel were always thinking about how they could go fishing. Since they were around 11 you could find them going whenever possible. I remember them getting cans of corn to go to the river and catch fish. Later on they went fishing on many lakes and even had some big fishing trips together. I am glad I got to see them continue their friendship all their lives and once in a while I got to share some time with them. I will miss him. My thoughts are with all his family in this sad time.

Beaner and I ran around from the time we're 16 till we're about 18 19 years old. I was fortunate enough to live at the Holmberg home for 3 or 4 years. Bean and I share a room in the basement we work together sometimes and we played a lot together ran around and beans first car has montigo he was very proud of that car love that car we go on road trips Wisconsin go Cruz Hopkins Anoka Main Street seems like we were inseparable. But as good friendships go we lost track of one another he went his way and I went mine and raised our family. just something about his death that really hit me hard cuz we're the same age we like doing the same things. To all his family Deb Karen Karl and their families my condolence to you all.

I have great memories with bean (gene) it's hard to pick just one his answering machine messages were great and I remember calling weekly just to listen to his new message and the characters he played while creating them another one would be when he came up to fish he would wake us up by saying karl its willie the walleye I would laugh until I cried it was so funny
