Obituary of Henry Thaddeus Katzmarek

Henry Thaddeus Katzmarek, born November 17th, 1959 in St. Paul, MN died unexpectedly June 1st, 2020 at his home in Mounds View, MN.

Born to John and Maryann Katzmarek, Henry attended Hill-Murray school. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1982. Henry worked as a Network Security Engineer for several companies including Lockheed Martin, Delta Airlines, and MoneyGram International.

Henry is survived by his wife Annette, his two children Kyle, and Angela (Chase) Kvistad, brother Gary (Nou), nephews Bryce and Jared, step-mother Alice Tubbesing, and many good friends.

Henry was a devoted father and provider. He took great joy in helping his family and friends in any way possible, and was a source of knowledge and wisdom to all. Henry and Annette enjoyed many vacations together over the last several years, as well as annual family trips to Northern Minnesota to spend time on their boat. He was immensely proud of his family and the life they had built. He enjoyed working with computers, and spent free time playing games with his friends and coding different programs. He was always quick to smile and offer his dry sense of humor. At the same time, he was a pillar of strength that many relied on. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and all who knew him.
