A cheerful and gentle soul, Pam died of complications of COVID-19 on May 11, 2020 at the age of 70. A long-time resident of Richfield and formerly Edina, Minn., Pam was a graduate of Richfield High School.

For more than three decades, Pam was an employee of Fairview Southdale Hospital and Hennepin County Medical Center until her retirement in 2014. Preceded in death by parents Richard and Dolores Johnson. Survived by siblings: Richard (Kathy) Johnson, Carol Stevens, Laurie (Jeremy Hogan) Pilialoha, and Thomas (Jennifer Syltie) Johnson. Pam played a special role as a cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews: Brandon, Stephanie, Barbara, Elizabeth, Alex, Lauren and Matt.

Pam loved caring for animals, traveling, baking and socializing with her many friends. Pam had a big heart and was always ready to celebrate a birthday or special occasion.

Memorials preferred to a local Animal Humane Society or donor's choice. A celebration of Pam's life will be scheduled at a later date due to the coronavirus pandemic.
