Thong Van Le

Age 87, of Coon Rapids, MN, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2020 of a broken heart, 12 days after losing the love of his life.

He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He served on a Navy ship for South Vietnam. In 1975, at wars end, he brought his family to America. He enjoyed MN sports, with his favorite being the Twins. He loved having family visitors, especially the grandbabies. He always greeted others with a hand shake, hug, or tip of his hat.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years Gon Thi Vu, two sons, Minh & Si Le.

Survived by children, Tam, Xuan (Willie), Dzung (Trinh), Nhat (Phuong), Thuan (Phuong), Tuan (Rochelle), Thuy (Jeff), Twae (Craig), Tuyen, John (Jillian); 29 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid, a private memorial service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park MN 55445. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
