Obituary of Dorothy Jopp

Dorothy "Dottie" Jopp, Age 79, of Plymouth, MN.

She gained her angel wings on April 29th, 2020.

Preceded in death by husband, Gerhard Jopp; parents, Theodore and Viola Douthitt; siblings, Theodore Douthitt Jr., Patricia Klonz, and Kathleen Hansen.

Survived by daughters, Cheryl (Dave Marohl) Howard, Julie (Gaylen) Brinkmann, Michelle (Brandon) Loomis; sister, Sandra (Joe) Jerkovich; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Dottie grew up in St. Louis Park. She loved spending time with family and friends. Dottie had a generous heart and will be greatly missed. Most of her years were spent at home with her kids. She also worked at the Wayzata School’s Cafeteria, and held other community based part-time jobs. She was a huge Minnesota Vikings and Sports fan and enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at The Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Avenue, Edina, Minnesota.
