Obituary of Joan Frances Wittman

WITTMAN, Joan Frances (nee Meyer), Age 88 of Minneapolis, passed away on April 26, 2020. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Esther and John Peter Meyer (Pete) and Brothers Eugene Meyers and John Peter Meyer (Jack) and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Survived by son Paul (Pam) Wittman and Jill (Greg) Berendt. Six grandchildren, Shawn (Gretta), Shannon, Aaron (Megan), Chad, Dominick (Lucia) and Genevieve. Five great-grandchildren, Otylia, Octavia, Michael, Zsa Zsa and Wolfgang. And one great-great-granddaughter, Naomi. There are also many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends. Her humor, wit and unconditional love for her family and friends will be greatly missed by all. Joan was a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses for most of her life. In this time of Social Distancing there will be no Memorial Service, rather when the time is right there will be a celebration of her life. The family would like to thank you everyone for your kind words and support through this time.
