Shawn Richard Lohmeier "Puffy"

Loving husband, father, brother, uncle & friend suddenly passed away April 25, 2020. Preceded in death by his parents Ronald "Corky" Duncan & Pamela Lohmeier, brother in law Allan "Al-Pac" Muehlbauer. Survived by wife Melissa "Missy" Lohmeier, children Alexus, Gavin & Blake. Pets Daisy, Nikko, Gomer, Chuck & Celeste. Siblings; Nick Piontek, Matt (Sarah), Angie (Kenny), Jenny (Jer) & Chad; Aunts Cindy(Jack) & Kari(Rick), many cousins, neices, nephews & friends.  Shawn was born in Minneapolis, MN. May 15, 1976. He graduated from Robbinsdale Cooper High School in 1994. In 1999 he met Melissa(Missy) whom he later married on April 22, 2006 at the Mall of America. Together they made 3 beautiful children Alexus(Lexi), Gavin & Blake. Shawn was a great business man and found his calling in 2000, when he began his career as a Home Mortgage Broker. He worked for various companies throughout the years learning the business. His most recent being with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage where he worked until March 2017 when he ultimately had to retire due to medical issues. Some of Shawn's favorite hobbies were fishing, softball, fantasy football, basketball and watching his hometown sports teams The Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Timberwolves. Throughout the years Shawn made many friends who's friendships he really cherished. Shawn had a big personality and will always be remembered as the life of the party. His proudest accomplishment would be his family he made with Missy, his children were his pride and joy in life. Shawn is going to missed more then words can express. With the Covid-19 restrictions, we are planning to have a Memorial/funeral at a later date and will update once we have all the details.
