RaeAnne Running (Dinehart)

Obituary of RaeAnne Running (Dinehart)

RaeAnne Running, 76, gained her freedom back from her hard fought battle with dementia on April 20th 2020 in Hermantown MN at Edgewood Vista Memory Care.

She was born to Raymond and Loraine Dinehart on December 9th 1943 in Duluth MN. She was blessed with a little brother Nick at the age of 8 who she so enjoyed  antagonizing. She attended school in Duluth MN graduating from Duluth Central in 1961. RaeAnne married Tom Sinnott in 1965 and they were later divorced.  She worked at the Minnesota Highway Department in Duluth MN and then went on to become an Assistant Savings Supervisor at St. Louis County Federal Savings and Loan Assoc. She retired in the early 1990’s after her marriage to Ronald Running in 1986. Upon her retirement, she and Ron traveled the world which she greatly enjoyed. She also was a “Judge Judy groupie” and everyone knew not to call her unless it was a darn good reason! However not even the Judge could compete with her love for dark chocolate and ice cream. Everyone who knew her will miss her quick and charming wit. She also loved her gardens but didn’t realize how much work they were until Ron’s passing, Her and Ron truly enjoyed and shared the passion and beauty of their gardens. She was a  lifelong member of First Lutheran Church.

RaeAnne is survived and will be sadly missed by her children Kim (Chuck) Pfuhl and Scott Sinnott; brother Nick (Sandy) Dinehart; nephews’ Derek Dinehart of Nevada and Chris Dinehart and his daughter Lenleigh (her great niece) of Hermantown; step-children Greg (Peggy) Running of Burnsville, Barb (Rodney) Dupree of New Hope and Julie Running of Duluth; also a number of step-grandchildren and great step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Ron and her parents Raymond and Loraine. We would like to thank the staff at Edgewood for the kindness shown to our mother and us during this difficult time.

Due to the unfortunate restrictions at this time, a private service and  burial will be held at a later date.
