Hello family of Dr. Schmidt, My grandparents (Dr. and Mrs. Silvio (Silena) Fortino) were friends of your parents. I was close to your mother when I was little - we were pen pals and she was a special person to me. And I would hear so many loving stories about your father. Reading his obituary, I had no idea of all the incredible medical impacts he made - wow! I’m sending my sincere condolences to you and your family; what an incredible man he was and couple they were.
