Obituary of Arvilla "Dolly" Ann Johnson

Arvilla “Dolly” Ann Johnson, 89, Proctor, MN went home to Jesus on April 15th, 2020.

She was born July 3rd, 1930 in Cando, ND to Henry and Alvina Teubner. Dolly was an alumnus of St Cloud Tech, class of 1948. She married Cecil Johnson on June 2nd, 1951.

Dolly was a loving devoted stay at home wife and mother. She was a member of United Lutheran Church for 60 plus years and was part of the Salem Covenant Church family.

She loved to winter in Arizona and summer at Top of The Morn. Dolly was also a member of the Proctor Moose. She enjoyed her card club, knitting club and “Widow Bit of Fun” and her many friends at Edgewood Independent Living.

If you knew Dolly you have most likely received a card from her as that was her giving way. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and her beloved husband in 2007; brother, Marvin Niemeyer and a sister; a grandson, Brian Ward; great-grandchildren, Nathan Ward and Hannah Bourke.

Dolly is survived by her son, David and daughters, Carol (Mick) Ward, Terri Eddy and Sheri Johnson; grandchildren, Tammy (Michael) Bourke, Todd (Jodi) Ward, Jennifer (Brian) Vowers, Cory Ward, Chad Ward, Marc Martin, Misty (Josh) Pelican, Crystal (Paul) DeBois, Beth (Derek) Jauhola, Tiffany (Will Higgs) Roth, Josh Johnson and Terra (Cody Lee) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Christina Vetromila, Hailey Neault, Logan Vowers, Nick (Angel) Ward, Savanah Vowers, Mikayla Ward, Nicole Vetromila, Jadyn DeBois, Noah Ward, Morgan Ward, Madeline Bourke, Reece Ward, Riah Ward, Brien Bourke, Brendon Bourke, Emma DeBois, Abigail Pelican, Kailyn Jauhola, Carter Jauhola, Landon Pelican, Myah Ward, Gianna Roth, Keira Johnson and Gino Higgs; great- great-grandchildren, Beau Ward and Natasha Ward.
