Obituary of John "Jack" Arthur Tremain

John “Jack” Arthur Tremain, 89, born March 5, 1931 in Barnum, Minnesota, passed away April 16, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital due to kidney and heart failure.

He was a Veteran of the Korean War. Jack was a “Jack of All Trades” and could build or fix most anything. He and his family were avid snowmobilers. His employment history started with the Northern Pacific Railroad and continued on delivering fuel oil, driving uke in the mines, driving trucks for the pipeline, driving trucks for many construction companies and he was the “grader man” for St. Louis County, retiring in 1993.

Jack is survived by his wife, Kay; sons, Joseph (Ione) and Douglas (Karen); daughter, Danita; grandson, Shawn Tremain; four step grandsons; and four step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Kyle Tremain.
