Obituary of Jeffrey R. Provost

Jeffrey R Provost, age 62, of Duluth, MN passed away in his home on Monday March 30, 2020. Jeff was born on August 17, 1957 to Margaret and Roy Provost in Ashland, WI. One of Jeff’s best friends from high school introduced him to his wife Brenda. They were married June 17, 1978. They have 3 children Megan Provost (Lonnie Seaman) of Duluth, MN, Thomas Provost of Duluth, MN, and David (Katlin) Provost of Duluth, MN. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Brenda of Duluth, MN; his mother Margaret Provost of Ashland, WI; brother Greg (Joan) Provost of Ashland, WI: nephew Alex Provost of Ashland, WI; step-nephew Jeremy (Wendy) MaCanthur and daughter Emma of Ashland, WI; stepniece Melissa (Matt) Spruel of Ashland, WI; and by 2 grandchildren Brynn and Kroy Seaman of Duluth, MN with another due in July. He was preceded in death by his father Roy and grandson Abel. He was a journeyman plumber and member of Local #11 and worked for many local companies with his longest employment being with Carlson Brothers and retiring from Jamar in August of 2019. In his free time he enjoyed skiing with his granddaughter and pontoon rides at the lake with his kids and grandkids.
