Ann C. Bader
Age 71, of Plymouth, passed away March 22, 2020 after 12 years with FTL dementia. Survived by husband, Edward; daughters, Sarah (Jan) Struck and Amy Gilman; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her adoring parents, Laurence and Loraine Monson (nee Huss). Ann was the youngest of three children and born in Butte, Montana. Her family moved to Edina, Minnesota in 1962 where Ann graduated from Edina Morningside High School. She attended the University of MN pursuing an art major and later enjoyed a full career as a sales leader with local food brokerage firms. Ann was a creative genius who was a gifted seamstress and decorator like no other. In her 40s she picked up tennis and played in various leagues. She also enjoyed trail hiking and long walks.
For the last 4 ½ years, Ann lived at Trails of Orono in memory care where she gave hugs, smiles, held hands, and walked all over until she was no longer able.
Our endless thanks to the wonderful staff and caregivers from “Trails” and Methodist Park Nicollet Hospice team whose hearts and skills are larger than life. Memorials to Park Nicollet Foundation, Hospice Comfort Care Fund. https://secure3.convio.net/pnfou/site/Donation2;jsessionid=00000000.app358a?df_id=1801&mfc_pref=T&1801.donation=form1
