Obituary of Jean Marie Hughes

Hughes, Jean Marie Jean died peacefully on March 16, 2020, at her home in Minnetonka. Jean was born in Wausau, WI, and was the sixth of seven brothers and sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael and sister Mary. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin and later received her MBA from the Carlson School of Business. She worked for 25 years at General Mills and retired in 2016 as a director of consumer insights. Jean loved photography, weaving, walking her dog, kayaking at her cabin in Ely and exploring art museums with her daughters. She is survived by her husband Raymond, daughters Emily and Rebecca, her brother Ron and sisters Eileen, Maureen and Barbara. To honor and celebrate her life, Jean's family has tentative plans to hold a memorial service in June.
