Obituary of David Donald Engel

Engel, David Donald age 83 of Hugo, MN, passed away March 17, 2020. Preceded in death by parents, Donald and Dorothy Engel and siblings, Virginia, Bill, and Margaret. David was stationed in the Army in Germany for a period of 2 years. After serving, David enjoyed his job in accounting and later in his life switched to real estate and construction. Survived by wife of 60 years, Mary; brother, Tom Engel (Maggie); sisters, Joan Patterson and Ginger Larson (David); daughters, Cathy Bauman (Greg), Angie Mullen (Dave), Margee Saba (Mike); sons, John Engel (Netty), Bill Engel (Kim); 12 grandchildren, Matthew Bauman (Hannah), Jessica Rau (Kyle), Annie Saba, Becky Mullen, Kaitlin Saba, Joe Mullen, Ben Saba, Brian Engel, Sarah Mullen, Carly Engel, Evan Engel, Ryan Engel, and 2 great grandchildren, Summit Bauman, Vera Bauman and many other relatives and friends. Catholic mass will be held at a later date at St. Mary of the Lake, 4690 Bald Eagle Ave. White Bear Lake, MN 55110. Please watch for updates on social media.
