Obituary of Donald Eugene Larson

Donald Eugene Larson, 79, of Duluth went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 surrounded by his family. Born May 7th, 1940 in Ladysmith, WI, son to Leo and Margie (Gray) Larson.  Don married Bonita Johnson in 1962.  They were married for 57 years.  Don worked at Diamond Tool & Horse shoe Company in Duluth for 13 years before working for & retiring from Duluth Transit Authority after 22 years of service in 2000.  Don & Bonnie have been pastoring Streams of Life Ministries, formerly Living Water Fellowship, since 1994.  Don enjoyed collecting model cars, wood working & vacationing with his family.  He loved talking to people and sharing Jesus. He was a father figure & “Papa Don” to many.  Don dearly loved his family.  A loving & devoted brother, husband, father, Papa & uncle. Don is preceded in death by his father, mother and two brothers; David, Kurt, and his only son, Jeff. Don is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughters Gina (Steve) Stupak, Jodi Broman, Genni (Dan) Broman, Daughter in law Sue Larson; Grandchildren; Jayden (Ashley K) & Ashley Larson, Vanessa (Dave) Mills, Samantha (Lance) Kallevig, Valerie (Dan) Thorp, Emmie & Brittany Broman, Alek, Nathaniel, Ethan, Ava, Elsa & Beckham Broman, Steven Stupak; Great-Grandchildren; Harper, Emmett, Avery, Alivia, Scarlett, Blakelyn, Evalina, Siersha, Erik, Brothers; Duane, Randy, Sisters; Judy, Jeanette, Joyce, Wendy, Cindy & many cousins, nieces & nephews. 

Celebration of Life service Saturday, March 7th, 2020 at 2pm visitation, 3pm service, reception to follow at Cremation Society: 4100 Grand Avenue Duluth, MN.
