Obituary of Robert "Bob" Francis Lindbom
Robert Francis Lindbom, age 76 of Danbury WI, passed away peacefully on February 24th with his family by his side. Robert was born on October 24, 1943 in St. Paul, MN to parents Leone and Francis Lindbom. Robert graduated from North St. Paul High School in 1961.
After high school, Bob was employed with 3M where he installed football and baseball fields, along with tracks at sports facilities across the United States. On April 4th, 1964 Bob married his high school sweetheart, Cathleen Root. They were blessed with three beautiful children.
In the mid 1970's, Bob and Cathy embarked on a business adventure and owned Liquor City South (South St. Paul, MN) and transitioned to Koch Industries in the late 1970's, where he worked as an operator and mechanic for nearly 30 years.
Bob was a hard worker, enjoyed building/finishing homes, loved the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Bob was known for his sense of humor, being a jokester and always willing to lend a helping hand for anyone in need.
Bob was a loving Husband, Father and Grandpa. He is proceeded in death by his parents Leone and Francis Lindbom and brother, Arthur.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Cathleen; children Rob (Theresa) Lindbom, Russell Lindbom and Rachel (Daryl) Raden; 6 grandchildren Patrice (Joe) Smude and Brigham Lindbom, Cassandra and Russell Lindbom, Preston and Kenyon Raden. Bob is also survived by brother James Lindbom; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services honoring the life of Robert Lindbom will be held on Sunday, March 15th from 1-5pm with Prayer and Service at 2pm @ First Memorial Funeral Chapel; 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul, MN 55119 (651)789-0404.
