Obituary of Barbara Mary "Barb" McTavish

Barbara Mary “Barb” McTavish, age 83, lifelong resident of Duluth passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 25, 2020 while at Chris Jensen Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Barb was born March 12, 1936 in Duluth to Charles and Thelma Kreager and was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Duluth. She married Larry McTavish on September 21, 1956 in Duluth.

Barb worked for Ryland Ford then Benna Ford for many years and then worked in the office at Grandma’s before retiring. She enjoyed camping and watching the Vikings and the Twins on TV with Larry.

Barb was preceded in death by her loving husband, Daniel “Larry” on February 12, 2020; son, Daniel Frank McTavish; and her parents.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Debra), Scott (Lori), and Julie (Kevin) Romano;

nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Carole (Jeff) Shelton; brother-in-law, Duncan (Virginia) McTavish; sister-in-law, Bonnie Thompson; best buddy, Taz; and many other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Chris Jensen (Willow Wing) for the kind care of Barb.
