Obituary of Margaret J. Conley
Margaret J. Conley age 78, went to be with her Lord Saturday, February 22, 2020.
She was born April 17, 1941, in Duluth, to Roy and Margaret Lundberg. Margaret graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1959. She married the love of her life, Robert W. Conley on July 11, 1959 and they started their life together at Fort Campbell, in Tennessee before moving back to Duluth.
She played an active role at Norton Park United Methodist Church, as a Sunday School Teacher for 35 years, a member of the Women’s Society and volunteering herself whenever needed. The church and people in it meant the world to her.
Margaret loved life but her family was most important to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She touched the lives in some way of everyone she met. Margaret was an amazing lady, who loved all animals and spending time with her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Troy and Scott; a granddaughter, Sarah Conley; her parents; sisters, Sharon Rodlund and Gloria Bernard; brother-in-law, Don Rodlund; mother and father-in-law, A.J. and Valborg Conley.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Robert Conley; sons, “Boomer” Keith (Jill) Conley and Kerry (Tia) Conley; daughters, Penni (Rory) Borich and Tammi (Jim) Lynch; grandchildren, Troy (Erica) Conley, Erik (Hannah) Conley, Mark Conley, Kyle (Lindsey) Conley, Tyler (Sophia) Conley, Andrea (Kevin) Meyer, Megan Borich, Dylan Lynch and Bradley VanErt; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Harper Conley, Brady and Maci Conley, Zoey and Isabella Margaret Meyer.
She will forever be loved and greatly missed by all.
Gathering of family and friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26th at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., and will continue Thursday, Feb. 27th from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service at Norton Park United Methodist Church, 436 N. 79th Ave. West, Duluth
