John Robert Warrick was born in Watertown, Minnesota on January 19, 1962 to father Robert Francis Warrick and Virginia Ann Kittock. John was adopted by Donald Benjamin Keesling as a child and went on to attend school in Orono, graduating from high school in 1981. John attended Hennepin Technical Center and began working at Dayton's Warehouse in St. Paul, Minnesota. He married Linda Kay Gavin on March 23, 1990 and their son Jeremy was born the same year. John served as a Personal Care Assistant to his son for several years and then worked for Target until 2015. John was recently living at McKenna Crossing in Prior Lake, Minnesota. John had a huge heart, he liked to play poker, was very social and a gentleman. He was passionate about the Minnesota Wild and also loved watching sports in general. John was active in his church community and he loved the outdoors, enjoying both fishing and hunting. John is preceded in death by his stepfather, Donald Benjamin Keesling and his mother, Virginia Ann (Kittock) Keesling. He is survived by his father, Robert Francis Warrick and his son, Jeremy Matthew Keesling. He is also survived by his brother James (Ellen) Keesling of Shakopee, Minnesota, sister Jill (Scott) Walrath from Silver Lake, Wisconsin, and half-sister Janine Keesling of Chaska, Minnesota, as well as one niece and three nephews. A memorial service will be held Fri. 2/21 at 11:00 am at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church, 3611 Berens Road NW, Prior Lake, MN 55379. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials will be directed to Tuberous Sclerosis Association in honor of John's son, Jeremy.
