Obituary of Clark Earl Hunting

Hunting, Clark Earl Age 85, of Mpls. Passed away February 7, 2020. Born in Chicago, October 1934. He was adopted and raised by Earl and Myrtle Hunting in St. Paul MN. Preceded in death by wife of 51 years Pamela (2008) and beloved dogs. Survived by sons James, Allan (daughter-in-law Amy), Jeffery & many dear friends and relatives. Attended St. Paul Central High School and Macalester College where he received a master's degree in education. Clark played football and hockey in both high school and college and was scouted by the Cleveland Browns. He taught at Sanford Jr. High School and Southwest High School in Mpls. He coached youth hockey and football, along with high school football and swimming. Clark had a love for reading, a fondness for food, and continued a lifelong love of sports. He also loved spending summers at the cabin on Gull Lake. Memorial service will be held on February 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Harriet United Methodist Church, 4901 Chowen Ave. S., Mpls. Memorials preferred to animal humane societies of donor's choice.
