Obituary of Delores "Laurie Nanni" Friend

Delores (Laurie) "Nanni" Friend, age 89, of Rosemount, passed away February 9, 2020. Preceded in death by parents, one brother, and loving husband Ken. Survived by son, Steve (Jan) Friend; daughter Martha "Marty" (Don) Tierney, granddaughters; Abby (Matt) Purdom, Madeline and Erin Tierney; great granddaughter, Leighton Purdom. Laurie was known to always be accessorized & stylish. She was creative and had a flair for decorating, entertaining & writing. She powered through life's challenges with faith, and lived by the words of Winston Churchill "never, never, never give up." A private Mass to be held Saturday, Feb 22. Memorials preferred to Colon Cancer Coalition.
