Obituary of Mayfred Krueger Denny

Mayfred Krueger Denny, age 97, passed away on Tuesday, February 11 in Deer River MN. Mayfred was born in New Brighton, MN on May 25th, 1922 to Kurt and Cora Krueger. In 1954, she married George Denny and moved to Bena, MN to help operate Denny’s Resort.

In addition to her parents, Mayfred was preceded in death by her husband and her five siblings. She is survived by her 4 sons; Jeff (Rebecca) of Duluth, MN, Bruce (Brenda) of Maple Grove, MN, Craig (Amy) of Council Bluffs, IA and Dean (Paula) of Isanti, MN.

Mayfred lived a life of high moral character and strong Christian faith. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Deer River food shelf (drfoodshelf@gmail.com).

Memorial Service will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, MN (2901 S. Highway 169) on Saturday Feb 22, 2020 at 10 AM with visitation at 9AM.
