Obituary of Thomas Martin Grimsrud

GRIMSRUD, Thomas Martin, age 92, of Golden Valley, passed away on November 5, 2019. World War II Army Medic Veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jane (Matheson); grandson, Larry Holm, Jr.; great grandson, Patrick Campbell II.  He will be deeply missed by children, Geraldine Stromquist (Paul), David Grimsrud (Rhonda Surfas), Marcia Holm; grandchildren, Dr. Anne Zbaracki (David), Matthew Stromquist, Dr. Emily Stromquist (Joel Saice), Tina Grimsrud, Roger Grimsrud, Fredrick Matheson (Natalie), Jenelle Holm-Lee (Kyle), James Campbell (Erica); many great grandchildren; many relatives and good friends.  He was a retired employee of Northwestern Bell.  Devoted Naturalist volunteer for Westwood Nature Center in St. Louis Park.  Memorial Gathering 1:30 – 3:30PM Saturday May 23, 2020 in the reception room at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park (763-560-3100) ****As of May 21, family has decided to postpone service***Check back for further details as they become available and thank you***
